Software Development Engineer (C++) - Airlines

The Airline Solutions Engineering division, part of Amadeus Travel Unit, is responsible for delivering technology and solutions that support the goals of Airline Solutions. Our team works across multiple domains: Offer, Order, Traveler Touchpoints & Experience, Services, and Transversal Research & Development (R&D).

Within Airline Solutions Engineering, the Offer team designs IT solutions for airlines, creating offers that are both customer-friendly and revenue-optimized for airlines.

We leverage advanced technologies to ensure flight search transactions are efficient and cost-effective. Our ecosystem includes applications, data platforms, cloud-native services, and advanced techniques like machine learning and dynamic pricing.

Our mission: build next-generation pricing, product, and retailing solutions to shape the future of airline retailing, including the new Offer Management System using a micro-service and event-driven architecture.

By joining us, you will contribute to transforming how airlines price and manage offers, ensuring customers receive the right offer at the right time.

In this role, you'll

• Develop and maintain C++ back-end components, focusing on performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Contribute to designing system architecture, including database structures and service integrations.
• Work within an Agile framework (including SAFe) to deliver incremental value.
• Apply problem-solving skills to enhance airline pricing and retailing tools.
• Collaborate with multi-location teams to share knowledge and implement best practices.
• Participate in creating innovative solutions leveraging cloud computing and AI/ML technologies.

Your Profile

• Professional experience in C++ development.
• Experience in system design, database technologies, and scalable architectures.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies such as SAFe.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in diverse teams.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Fluent in English.
