Executive Project Manager

About this opportunity

You will be responsible for managing customer relationships and coordinating the delivery of multiple real estate construction projects, including new builds and refurbishments .

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Supporting Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectives.
• Positively engaging with customers and developing, growing and maintaining customer relationships.
• Delivering high-quality services and deliverables, ensuring that services meet our Customer’s requirements.
• Administering contracts as a contract administrator, employer’s agent or project manager.
• Producing and presenting to customers.
• Preparing bids for services.
• Managing service delivery for profit.
• Advising directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or may arise, on projects; in particular those that might impact on Gleeds professional indemnity (PI) insurance.
  
• Remaining in the remit of your role and when additional responsibilities need to be carried out, conduct this in a fully informed manner with the approval of your line manager.

Who we’re looking for:

Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills

• 10+ years of experience in construction projects in France (real estate/buildings).
• Experience of work as a Project Manager / AMO, ideally for hospitality projects.
• Understanding of the tools and techniques applied to project management.
• Initial knowledge of construction procurement methods, including tendering, contracting strategies, s pecification and acquisition .
• Understanding of legislation impacting on building contracts.
• Knowledge of h ealth and safety basics applied to the construction industry
• Excellent communication skills - both oral and written.
• Methodical way of thinking and approach to work.
• Excellent problem solving, negotiating, financial and numeracy skills
• Sound ICT skills, with a high proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Proficiency in French and English
• Eligible to work in France
• Available to work permanently in Nice-Cannes area.

Qualifications

• Bac+2 or equivalent - Building Engineering, Architecture or similar
• Engineering School or BTS, DUT or Technical Professional License
