Key Highlights

5. Salary : USD $8,343 per month (tax-free, paid only while onboard)

About the Role

As Hotel Stores Manager, you’ll be responsible for the planning, procurement, inventory, and issuing of all hotel-related items on board—from linens and uniforms to consumables, bonded items, entertainment supplies, and beyond. Working closely with shore-based logistics teams and onboard departments, you will ensure seamless operations, regulatory compliance, and impeccable standards across all storerooms.

Responsibilities

1. Manage all hotel inventory and ordering using MXP in accordance with load plans, schedules, and budget
2. Supervise storeroom cleanliness, safety, and USPH compliance
3. Lead a team of assistants and storekeepers, training and mentoring them toward excellence
4. Prepare freight and provisioning plans, and coordinate with F&B, Housekeeping, and Purchasing departments
5. Oversee loading and unloading operations at port
6. Monitor invoice accuracy, resolve shortages, and manage credits with suppliers
7. Conduct regular inventory checks, including monthly bonded inventory
8. Uphold budget controls while maintaining high operational standards
9. Attend all safety drills and trainings; ensure MLC-compliant work/rest scheduling

What We’re Looking For

1. Experience :
2. Minimum 2 years in a luxury hotel or 3 years on a cruise ship in a logistics/F&B management role
3. Prior experience with hotel inventories or purchasing is a strong plus
4. Familiarity with MXP (Marine Xchange) or similar systems highly valued
5. Skills & Attributes :
6. Strong leadership and team development skills
7. Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
8. Ability to work under pressure and lead by example
9. Exceptional time management, organizational, and administrative abilities
10. Computer proficiency in MS Office and logistics software
11. Certifications :
12. Valid STCW certificates
13. Seafarer's Medical (PEME), C1D visa, Seaman’s Book (or willingness to obtain)
